July 15: POI Sponsored Affiliations
This fall, the Identity & Access Management Program at HUIT will replace the existing FAS sponsored account process with a more robust system. These new "Person of Interest" (POI) sponsored affiliations will be available across the University to provide individuals outside the standard roles (student, faculty, staff, etc.) temporary access to Harvard resources. In this Lunch & Learn brown-bag info session, we'll demonstrate the new POI sponsored affiliation process — which is implemented through MIDAS — as well as explain the expanded list of roles available for use and the process for how to use these roles. You'll also learn how to request a POI sponsored affiliation, and how the notification system for new sponsored affiliations will work.
Presenters: Terry Connolly and Gretchen Grozier
This Lunch & Learn is one of a Summer 2015 Brown Bag Series offering info to all interested Harvard Community members on key IAM topics like HarvardKey, two-step verification, user provisioning, Person of Interest roles for people administrators, and more.
