In the past, studying, teaching, or working at Harvard meant managing dozens of different login names and passwords. The Identity & Access Management program at Harvard University Information Technology introduced HarvardKey in 2015 to simplify user access, and ever since has been enhancing the service to extend HarvardKey to more Harvard-affiliated users.
A "single identity for life" the HarvardKey enables access to the applications and services Harvard users need every day using a single login name and password. HarvardKey makes it easier for new users to get started and simplifies login as individuals move about the University regardless of the role they have at any given time. It also helps keep the Alumni community connected.
June 2021 Changes
We are simplifying the HarvardKey screens - making them faster to load on all devices.
The Forgot Your Password? workflow will be simpler too. Just enter the (non-Harvard) email address you used when you set up your account, then click on the link in the email message you receive to go to a page where you can create a new password.
