IAM Update at October's ABCD Committee

October 2, 2015
ABCD Meeting

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) program at Harvard University Information Technology was pleased to present a first-round look at HarvardKey progress to the University's ABCD Committee, a Harvard-wide association promoting communication and collaboration on technology topics. Close on the heels of the first-wave HarvardKey launch — the new unified Harvard login credential made its debut to the Alumni community on Sep. 22, 2015 — IAM's presentation to ABCD on Oct. 2 offered a unique opportunity to recap the progress of one of the University's widest-reaching IT efforts in recent years.

Community Program Manager Gretchen Grozier, Senior Technology Consultant Scott Bradner, Director of Product Management Jane Hill, Program Architect Tim Gleason, Transition Manager Matt Mazer, and Communications Specialist Jessica Schilling presented a look at deployment and post-deployment activities following the initial HarvardKey rollout wave — including a look at key numbers thus far — as well as a sneak peek of the two-step verification functionality that will be offered in the next HarvardKey launch wave this November.
