On July 27, 2021 the eXtended ID (XID) service was retired. Active XID accounts with complete data were migrated over to the HarvardKey unified login. However, passwords from the XID system could not be migrated. If you had an active XID when you get to the HarvardKey Sign In screen, please click the Forgot Your Password? link.
Enter the email address you used when creating your XID account and then look for an email message that will be sent to you with a link.
Click on that link to be taken to a page to set a new password. Your new password will have to meet the current University Security requirments, but the prompts on the screen will help you through the process. With the new password created, your new HarvardKey will replace your old XID account!
If your email account is not on file with the system, you will need to get a new HarvardKey account. Go to the application that you would like to access and look for the link/button there to get a new account.
